Pollen Filter - Where Is Is Located On A Mk2 ?

Hi All - I am reasonably new to this site. I have a smelly heater and wanted to change the pollen filter but don't know where it is located. I have a Ford Galaxy 2001 2.3 Ghia so assume it is the MkII ? I have researched this site and initially thought that it was accessed from the engine bay under the bulk head, but having looked am now am not so sure. I found another article that suggested it was behind the fuse box and within the glove box area ?

 

Either way if someone called tell me where it is, I will then know which article to follow. I have looked in the FAQ's section of the site but when I click on a link I always get 'web page cannot be found'. Is there something I am doing wrong. Is this a problem that others have had ? Everything else seems to work fine on the site.

same as a mk1, look at battery then continue looking up and past water bottle now you can see a metal tube and wiper linkage, now look hard behind that lot and there it is

Firstly you cannot use internet explorer with this site try Mozilla Firefox.

 

To access the pollen filter you will need to remove the scuttle tray (3 bolts) the filter is immediately behind the wiper motor it is a fiddly job with the wiper motor in position but is do able.
