jamesey Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 hi ive fitted 2 new sensors and i dont know if its normal but when i reverse upto a wall the beeps then as i get nearer it goes to a continuos tone to say im really close but if i drive away the continuous tone stays on until i press the button , is this the same with everyones :18: Quote

Floydey Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 One of my rear parking sensors had an intermittent fault which meant that sometimes I had the continuous bleep all the time they were engaged. I monitored their activity using VagCom to determine which one it was before replacing it. Quote

I have had a different problem with mine; they only work when the weather is wet, and I get a continuous bleep when it's dry. Were the sensors easy to change? Quote
