I am having problems with lots of white smoking coming from the Aux heater, is it possible to disconnect to until I can get it looked at? My wife refused to drive in it this morning, so we had to take the other car instead. lol. The ford warranty from the garage runs out today but they have agreed to look at it next week and fix whatever needs fixing. But for now, can it be disconnected (easily)?

How do you get the black (none remote) keys programmed anyway? Its not like you can press a button on it, like the remote key. I've got a spare remote key waiting to be programmed, but not yet worked out how none-remote keys are programmed.

I am about to reprogram my keys.. and it got me thinking: I've got 4 keys; 2 remote keys, 1 straight key (no remote) and the plastic emergency key.. I know how to program the remote fob, but how do I program the key with no remote? And does the emergency (plastic) key have a chip, or is it just to open the key/cut new keys?

I've just bought a remote key fob on ebay, but need a key blade fitted and ofcourse cut.. Where do I buy the key blade? How much are they? And can any key cutting show cut it for me?

I have been told both it will fit, and it wont fit.. But it does fit (not 100% as the corners are a bit more rounded, but it looks nice enough..).. Have a look at this thread, especially post 32.. I will take a photo of mine aswell if you want.

The new cd/mp3 player is now in.. The fascia fits quite nicely.. gooner: I can see the pocket being used for CDs, not useful for much else. :rolleyes: Thanks for your help.

OK.. Will keep an eye when I go over 30.

My calculations are as follows: Tank filled -> drove 430 miles -> filled 63 litres 63/4.546=13.85 gallons 430 / 13.85 = 31 MPG Sound very poor compared to most of the others I have seen (just under 40).

I've just purchased my 1.9TDI Galaxy but my MPG is much lower than I expected.. I only managed to get 430 miles on a full tank (probably 20miles or so left when the light came on), making it just over 30MPG.. This is a mix of Motorway driving (80%) and 20% to the shop, city, etc, etc.. I tried hard to watch my driving (used to driving a company car with petrol card, so didnt really care before), but still the low MPG. Probably doing around 80 on the motorway. How can I improve on this?

Thanks alot.. Now, dont blame me if you get a cold. :) The corners are a bit more rounded on the fascia, but it still looks ok, so I have bought one on ebay... Hopefully I am not too late to get it shipped today, so I can have a play tomorrow. :) Thanks again.

Hi, I am looking for a fascia to replace my 6000 radio in a 2003 galaxy. I have found a couple of ebay, but they dont seem to be the right ones (corners too rounded).. Can somebody please recommend me a fascia that will fit nicely? I waiting for Ford to be give a call back, but until then, if you have bought one elsewhere, and it fit, let me know.
