When I changed the glowplug on ours I was disappointed to find the one I took out was fine but the connection was just a little loose, at the time I thought it would have made enough of an electrical connection not to be o/c. On closer examination both the supply and the earth are in that single connection the earth DOES NOT run through the heater so that connection has to be TIGHT otherwise you get the o/c dtc. Incidentally we didn't have to have the fault cleared before it started working again. Might be worth 30 mins to check again ;)

  10. Is it coming from the main exhaust or from the little aux heater exhaust pipe just in front of the nearside rear wheel ?
  11. can he add the eyelet holes or is there a way of doing that ourselves - I find that there is less chance of rubbish getting under if they are pinned down

  14. No we haven't got much to go on, we don't yet know if any of the dashboard lights come on :D
  15. It stops the buckle smacking the window as you throw the car through the chicane(sp) :D
  16. When you unclip the seatbelt from the floor it retracts and clips into this recess :D

Ok assuming you are getting lights on dash but when you try starting in the cold you get absolutely no noise no clicking, if so the starter solenoid becomes suspect, some sort of expansion/contraction problem in the driving circuit for this solenoid (heavy duty relay), temperature somehow affecting the solenoid itself. Best I can do with current info :D
