change the vac pipe , in fact change all the vac pipes at that age , when did it last have a service ?

check the clear pipe before the pump, make sure theres no air getting in , it could also still be injector related but i would suggest vag-com before you throw money at it

cut a groove into outer edge and tap round with a chisel, may work?

it could of blew the wastegate pipe off , causing loss of turbo, pemanent limp mode , but try the clutch test first

i'd like to say clutch .... but turbo wastegate ? :D wasnt your maf working loose is it similar ? but worse, think you need another test drive
