  4. Ok "Fixed" might not be the correct way to say it, But I read the post this morning for the first time, and it said "It said I had already voted" and yes you have guessed it No I had not voted! if in any way you think its dishonest pls have your say and express your concerns on the subject , then no-one can edit that opinion without your knowledge

  7. havn't been here long but as i see it we all joined needing answers, not all stay, whatever status we have outside of this forum counts for nothing, you are not forced to give advice or an opinion , you have an option , its a site for people who drive the same cars, looking for help, advice, ideas ect, once found you have the option to participate in other activities , for which many do, lets keep the forum community based , rank & brownie points are for ego-maniacs, what next pay them ! , if you click on a members name it tells you where they are most prominent, everyone has equal to offer in their own field , be that a gsoh or just a chat, when you've had a bad day, to that tech help, yes we need moderators to monitor, we dont need dictators of rank, and who gives anyone the right to judge others, lifes to short, if you want a moan theres a place on here , if you want some fun that to , each to thier own , we all have a right to an opinion , and we all have the right to disagree, thats what a forum is all about
  8. seemed to start a month ago, i cant fathom out that as these cars usually start very well hot or cold, will try a new switch, today and see what happens. wonder if the relay has anything to do with it, but where in that messy fusebox do you find it ! havnt delved in yet but lot of the relays behind fuse box it should unclip

  11. They are not allowed to "bung" it as you say, they have to Vulcanise them. Steve hi steve , sorry dont know what vulcanise means :) :)
  12. its not really a tech question , its your familys safety , you decide , personally i'd go with the spare for today , and new tyre, you dont want to do 70mph with your kids in the car and rely on a rubber bung
  13. its difficult without the full facts , re; headrests you had ample time to inspect the vehicle, re service if they agreed on a service you should have got a service if they said pdi, then not , i would always get anything in writing on the order form, before you sign, if your mechanic has touched the vehicle that has destroyed the evidence and could also viod any warranty liability with the garage if they found out, you'd heard all the sales patter before and were obviosly on your gaurd ,you happily signed an agreement to purchase, you could persue through the small claims court ,but if your happy with the car take it as a lesson learnt , by the way the scratches autoglym resin polish, buff light scratches first with g10 compound & elbow greace
  14. hi, as much as i sympathise i'd ammend the fraud bit with thier name, they may see this as slander

  19. as long as you have a good tool-kit axle stands etc if in doubt dont do it :) the process is slightly different if air-con or not, but depending on your ability a haynes manual should point you in the right direction
