Its the same as galaxy ag5 tiptronic gearbox ,the whole car vibrates from 3000 revs onwards until it changes to 4th gear, in all other situations seems to work ok.

Hi guys it has become a habbit visitig this forum as some will probably notice. Unfortunatly it has now come the time to put out this problem that i am starting to notice in my 2nd Seat Alhambra tdi tiptronic 86tkm on the clock. When going hard on gas pedal car starts vibrating in 3rd gear round about 3000 to 4000 revs until changes to 4th. Is there a kind soul that can help me out with some sugestions of what this can be. On my seat alhambra 2002 ,open motor bonnet left hand side near windshield there a hole where ther is a sticker with all the cars caracteristics.I think its the same on the galaxy.

After you have done all the bolts like the pictures indicate you have to pull the top of bumper towards you starting right behind the back wheels to get the 3 clips loose and the bumper comes out,you will have to aply quite some force to get it loose.

Yes this one i have now (double ac) even gets cold in the car.The one i had before normal ac worked allright when i ran it as described.This in both alhambra mk2.And dont forget i live in Portugal and we have some very hot summer days of 36

Dual a/c is more eficient because it has all the air outlets in the front (4) and 5 outlets on the roof.Single a/c is not bad and the best way to make it more eficient is to put it to the front (top) outlets press the recirculate button, temperature regulation to LOW and shut the back fan totaly off.This should cool the car to an exceptable level. Another way to see if your a/c is working properly is to get an a/c termometer and measure the temperature on the outlets should come down to +- 7

Have you changed Atf fluid and filter :this lifetime gearbox maintainence free is a load of crap the manufactures are selling to us.For what i have read in (vwvortex.com) tecnical Automatic gearbox section you may have low atf level.Post this problem quite a few specilists that may give you an opinion.

No cold air from the back the ac is only on the front and behind front seats on the floor.Only cold air to the back on cars with double ac on top as someone mentioned.But if the ac is working properly you should get the car with aceptable cool temperature. Have your ac diagnosed at someone that is sepecilized on the ac. Fraud dealers normaly dont have very good service on ac.

Guys the issue about the oil for the Tdi motor with pump duse is not if it is synthetic or semi synthetic, it is an ADITIVE that has to be added to the oil. This aditive will then lubrificate the injectores and keep them in top shape for many kilometers. Tdi pd use 505.(01) oil other tdi use 505.(00).

Post some averages for cars with tiptronic gearbox so we can compare.

Hi guys sorry for the ignorance but does this cover all vag cars in all there versions say sharan Tdi 90 ,115,130 hp.if so how do we do a surch in such a lot of models and versions of the same cars.I am interested in geting this software but could you guys enlighten me on how it all works. I dont know if the suction machine works but i usualy have a similar job done to extract the oil from my motor but with a more profissional machine it is proven that it sucks all the oil out (4.5 l) if you change filter as well this is for a tdi motor.The suction tube is normaly made of plastic sort of material so it can bend or twist to go to the botom. The best is that the old oil is then collected to be recicled or properly distroyed.

Hi guys have one question relating to double A/C have any of you guys got double ac only on the front and back (on the floor rear) seems to be a hell of confusion on this subject even the stealers are not shure.

Try to close the doors with the key if all the doors lock with the key then it probably has remote locking.But your best bet is to do the deal with every thing working believe me with so many used cars for sale the dealer will do almost anything to sell the car.

Hi New Galaxy Maybe welcome to the forum.My guess is that it has remote control have never seen one without.They are expensive and the key has to be programed so it will operate the ignition.My best guess is to try and put the remote issue in the deal,ask the seller to get you the remote that operates the car.

One the mk1 i am not shure never seen one,but on the mk2 that i am certain i have the 5 vents on roof (3+2) they control direction and air flow.

Yes the ones with double Ac have 5 roof vents one for every seat in the 2 and 3 row with indepent air flow regulation as well as the front air vents.The single ac comes out in the front and on the floor behind the front seats at the back left handside on wheel cover only hot air or outside circulation air no ac. Never seen any with ac at the back.

Do an a/c check at at a specialist the machine tells him all the details about the systems condition. A/c should feel very cold after a few minutes when set to LOw.

I think that only the ones with manual a/c have those controls normaly over the back door. When the have climate control the pass the controls to the front cc.

Are you shure you have double ac because normaly at the back only hot air comes out so if you want ac you must switch the back fan off and let the air flow from the front.The only double ac i know on these mpv is the one thats come out on the roof like the one i have.

Have a tiptronic and it does nothing of that even slips to higher gear before i would like,buy what i have read the atp level is very important on how the gearbox works put it to level and see what hapens.
