These two oils meet the vw specs they have various aditives which lubricate the engine. These aditives remain a big big secret and make us use oil that is realy expensive,the same thing aplies to the auto tranny atf. Go to the back of the car on the right hand side take off the lid of the compartment where you keep the jack. Look inside to the top right hand side you will find a white stiker with all the caracteristics of your car. If you have 85KW = 115HP. If it says 96KW = 130HP. By the way this stiker put in when the car is beeing assembled has all the details of the car. Motor type, horsepower, gearbox ref, paint color ref, as well as all the extras codes.

So it can only be changed with vag com?

Put in a cd and hit the volume

My solution for all these noises is to put in a nice cd and hit the volume,cant even hear the motor.Auto tranny chooses the right gear, and you can even sing along. Sorry guys somehow this answer got in the wrong post (too much whisky after lunch)
