Drivers Door Lock
ALARM MAN replied to norwichbluenose's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Come on guys think about it Keys ? Remote? Get an upgrade remote locking should be done for less than 100 quid its radio controlled no silly pointing at the windows no gritty locks No frozen locks flashes your indicators shuts your lecky windows And you still want to go to Fraud dealers . Can sell you a Toad Remote unit for 85 pounds plus p&p With fitting instructions for the galaxy By the time youve changed one lock the things fitted ? Up to you guys Have a nice day now -
Old model galaxy use infrared system dogged with problems Have you pointed it to drivers rear view mirror or top of rear door sensor at both points. Failure on that just fit a remote locking unit a lot cheaper Ian

Hi mate The 2007 comes straight out with the u prongs try some new ones if they are a bit worn You will have fun with the amp though. Amp is fitted below radio I have not looked to close but if you remove it you should find the radio link wire Then there will be the speaker wires coming out of it you should connect to them and remove the Amp and link wire this should give you sound from the radio direct to speakers you will lose the column controlls with the JVC but you will gain your MP3 player We have no problem with all am / fm etc Ian

Air con does mean cold air as it is the only means of chilling air It should be run on cold setting so as to make the compresser run to chill the air and sending oil and gas around the system regulaly just running hot will not use the aircon system Adjusting temp will alow a certain amount of hot and cold through to mix Regards Ian

If you give them about three years they should be more on the market Company cars are usually kept this long then they get shut. Its usually only companys that buy 2.8 ( or very rich people with a petrol drink problem ) Ian
