Do not put grey to earth this picks up door contact Locking unit will not lock if door is open grey wire to earth unit thinks door is open disconect this wire should work get back to me Ian
-
What configeration have to set the unit to Pos or neg locking ? Ian
-
Stop right there !!! Why take the cowling off ? :P If you have found the central locking wires are they at the fuse box ? If so you have numerous power wire mainly RED to use They say at ignition switch but that means a wire coming or going to Please leave Airbag alone ( dont mean to be funny just costs lots to reset ) Plus i dont think there is one there any how Regards Ian if you need any more info let me know :P
-
Be careful as the radio may have a amp underneath The 2007 im sure same as the good ladys car is very low power then runs through an amp underneath thin grey multiwire to amp also one to steering controls Yo may have to bypass amp but it could be a job just to get to it. Is the Galaxy you have the Ghia or GhiaX ? Ian

ALARM MAN replied to Eddy's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
You could do with looking into disabling this feature imagine on the motorway you go to fill up leave keys in and shut door Oh Bu--er We have GhiaX but no factory alarm This is a dangerous feature they should never lock on passive arming Is it a factory alarm or retro fit ? Ian -
