Galaxys are prone to the fusebox burning out which could cause poor starting,its worth a look

Hi I have a Mk2 Galaxy and have noticed fine cracks appearing in bumper , this is since I fitted a westfalia detachable towbar,in which you have to remover the bumber mounting beam.If anybody thought of a solution please tell me.

I brought a Galaxy MK2 a month ago .I have just fitted a towbar .I was not impressed by the strength of the pastic bumper.When the towbar is fitted the steel mounting plate for bumper is removed.I hope the plastics hold up now.I like the car but find the engine sound quite noisy when accelerating.It is a diesil though.Hope to hear from members,but I am new to forums.Bye

Serch OPIE oils and they sell AT fluid ,they will tell you the correct oil by phone or email.You must be carefull not to get any dust in gearbox and get correct level.They are expensive to repair.

I think that your answers would be found in the Ford Tis which you van download off the internet if you run a serch.It has lots of information on it for Fords including Galaxy

I read in the owners manual that you remove the cover(inside near fuel filler) then pull the wire.

I checked on autodata and it should take 2h40 inc.tensioner

I have used eurocarparts and have had no problems.sometimes the parts have been original.I suggest that you carefully check that all parts are OK before fitting to make sure they supplied correct parts.
