is there anything i can do if its dry sorry if that sounds stupid lol  -
hiya people slight problem again ive this wobble on acceleration it starts at about 35 up, ive had the drop links, track rod ends, and now the ball joints on the lower arms replaced and its still there but when i take my foot off the gas it goes ive got a feeling its the drive shaft, there is no up and down movement but there is a slight in and out movement on the drivers side shaft. could it be slightly bent or is there anything else i can do or look at to resolve the problem many thanks
-
hiya another problem now ive got a wobble on acceleration at about 45 its a strong wobble too ive got a feelng its my droplinks and track rod ends anyone else got any suggestions would be much appreciated p.s got the turbo done by ford no problems since but still having trouble with speedways.co.uk wont accept it was their crappy goods so got trading standards on the case should be fun :o

all the pipes were checked the 1st time it happened around jan or feb when it was cold then it warmed up and it didnt do it until just before christmas when we looked at it this time the actuator if thats what its called was jammed and from what ive read on the net the vains were stuck so we just assumed it was the turbo so maybe ford will test it properly this time hopefully many thanks so far your info is great
-
well it kept going into limp mode when i first got it back in nov 2004 so changed the maf still was there but only when cold carried on using it my garage did the vag-com on it kept coming up with over boost sensor boost pressure exceded something like that but it didnt get any worse until a week before christmas and it just lost all power wouldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding so garage had a look the actuator arm didnt move plus a fair bit of in out movement on the blades so just rang round sill me took the cheapest offer as its a taxi didnt want to miss christmas trade then then thats where it started missed the christmas trade and newyears now im broke ha ha at least i will be after ford have done their bit
-
thats it now the bloke was rude very rude ford are doing it now they have had problems with recon turbos that other people have tryed but they all go back to ford im sending the speedway turbo to turbo tecnics to have a look at i dont believe its my engine and nore do they
-
<_< WHY HELLO where do i start got another recon turbo as they (speedway.co.uk) agreed to replace it bit strange as they said it was a fitting error on my side so we put it on this morning under full instructions from them new oil new filter had new feed pipe with the 1st recon turbo primed the oil through just like they said put it back together started it up run it at tick over for 30 mins everything ok no leaks so the mechanic took it for a test drive seemed ok then i got in drove round the corner up the road half a mile then came the smoke and funny noise from turbo took it back turbos had it ha ha now im crying. rang speedways explained the situation was told its the fitting told i watched the fitting and everything was to their instructions then was told its my engine he was 1000 % sure it was my engine and they wouldnt be doing anything about it and that was that so i got on the phone to turbo tecnics authorised garrett specialist and explained to them whats gone on they tell me that the VNT turbo unit should not be recondioned as they dont last long he is sure its the turbo thats at fault not the engine they want to see the turbo that was reconed ive now got ford to do the job of supplying and fitting a new one around
-
i used these but had a problem but could of been a one off http://www.speedways.co.uk

thats the oil ford and vw recomend for long service intervals 10 or 12 thousand miles my old boss had a vw sharan 03 and his one needed oil after 8 days of driving from new and now it uses more than ever i got a galaxy 51 and i use 10-40 fully synthetic but i still use oil
-
hi ya thanks so far it wasnt droped it was well packed it was fitted correctly to my knowledge i drove it no more than 80 miles and no higher than 45 mph :D
-
yer it filled the turbo fill the cat too its like a bearing has colapsed one side if that sounds right i did everything i was told too i kept below 45 no big boosts i just dont know im just wondering wether to go to ford and be done with it
-
from what the bloke has said on the phone its going to be bench tested he said if its blue its been starved of oil it the turbines are damaged something has gone through it which one has a broken end they would be down to me and if its a inside problem its them so how do i know
