Aghh don't be so hard on her - after all I bet her a/c works!!!! :) Yup..My Jap Crap has working A/C... ahh..it was lubberly jubberly to have it on today..mmmmmm....... In fact...everything workds on her..heats in seconds when cold, cools in seconds, and the unit for the rear works a dream also.. absoluuuute bliss... :)

so um..y'know when you lay this underfloor heating stuff.. do you um... ignore any adult sized bumps under the floorboards...and will it umm..y'know make any um.... lets say .."dead animals" that happen by chance to be buried under the floorboards... umm..whiff a lot more than they would lets say if they were buried in say umm..y'know..a black bag that was kinda sealed and just tiled overr?? does the car not have the Ghia badge on it?? as i assumed all ghias did. as for the dealer that sold you the car..they are bloody idiots if they cant tell a ghia from an LX!!..Plus i believe a ghia costs more, so if you do have an LX, but paid ghia price which may be more..then you may be entitled to a refund of sorts.. i could be wrong though mind..:ph34r:

Can i say ta to the peeps whose emails i have recieved asking if i am still on this planet :rolleyes: Here is what i have been doing for the past week. It is called a Southerner mite, and i have built it from scratch,i.e, cutting out all the parts, sanding down, gluing together, (*and myself to it on occassion..cyno is one heck of a glue !!) It isnt finished yet, the frame will weigh around 1oz before the PAW 55 engine is added when complete.The wing span is 32"

THEY MUST BE JOKING! CAT C WRITEOFF???? Someone could have that back on the road in next to no time, for the cost of an indicator and bit of body hammering or a replacement wing......but the bloody inspector too bloody idle to think for a second.....or maybe he's tipped his mate off to break it up for ebay....... yup, they did indeed, i argued it, but they were adament it was a cat c write off. according to the assessor, new bumper new front wing new indicator auto electrician to reset/check airbag light labour vat he went on ford prices. ford labour costs. which amounted to a sum over the value of the car which = a write off, the airbag light made it a cat c. when i recieved the letter the other day i did ring up my insurance company and tried to argue my case, there was no structural damage as indicative of a cat c, that if anything it should be a cat d. and that i could repair it myself . Noooooo.. sorry, it is a cat c which means uneconomic to repair.. do these people know nothing?? Even the ford garage were amazed it was classed as a cat c.. i did point out to my insurance that on ebay there were cat cs with front/ rear ends smashed in, crumpled up and that mine looked nothing like it. the guy who came to pick it up said is that it??!! i said yup, he said beggers belief.
