  1. Yup, mine is a 03 2.9 diesel, driving it back from Buxton i went up a hill , a pretty steep hill ( 20 i think it was)and the sedona just flew up it in 4th . If id been in the galaxy i would of had to crawl up in 2nd . Its definately more powerful than my gal. Its bigger aswell.
  2. Ohhhhhh i dunno, might stick around this time, Though, i wont be a galaxy owner for long at the moment as mine is up on ebay!! :) Got meself a Kia Sedona... mmmmmmm... now that baby can pull.
  3. Im still in the land of the living, nice to see the place is still here. Been a weeeeeee bit busy with my business.Plus other stuff. Nice to be back. How many of you old uns still around?
  4. Ahem..... im not dead. Im NOT 40 YET!!!! im 40 this year.... unless i was born a year earlier than it says on my birth cert. LOL
  5. To be honest, ive heard a lot of bad things about the MKIII Galaxy, but there is also some good i suppose. For me, its not just the rattling overhead lockers, or the other things that have been reported, its also a cosmetic thing for me. I just dont like the MKIII. The S-max however, even though similar to the MKIII, looks far better to me. If i were to choose between an S-max, a MKIII Galaxy, or a MKII galaxy... I would more than likely go for an S-max. I am unsure of the back seats in an s-max, but i know someone i can ask who transports all his model planes in his.
  6. is your 2000 model, a MKI or MKII?? i know someone interested in buying a galaxy at the moment. Personally, id go for the S max rather than a MKIII or even a later MKII would be good.
  7. I wouldnt of thought there would be that much difference to be honest... So you should be fine. :(
  8. roughly in my 2002 model 6 foot 8 inch long, 3 foot 8 inch wide measured at the back,,, narrowest point.
  9. Im afraid there is no Haynes for this, searching on ebay for etka or tis will help you . :(

  16. reminds me, i still have 2 tyres from my old galaxy stuck in the garage with practically hardly any wear on them.. took em off before it was taken away. lol.. its a bummer when you pay a fortune on a couple of tyres only for some numpty to write your car orf a while later. lol
  17. member is deleted. As i dont have access to PMs sent, i cannot delete all the pms he sent. The forum is as secure as any forum can be. There are spammers getting through on a few of the other forums i am a member of so we are not unique on here. Sorry about all the bother folks. Maz

  19. yup..there is a classified section..been there foer yonks and yonks. ;) how much you gonna be flogging yours for?
  20. ahh garibaldi, Remember Teresa had this problem and it wasnt the dreaded split pipe.. took her yonks to find the problem if i recall correctly, and iirr, it was blocked drains/holes leading into the car?? But most usually it is the pipe .
  21. you could also try leaving it to dry out, takes a few days im afraid. put it in the airing cupboard. I have heard one person whacked it in the oven on a very low heat for a few hours.. this i dont recommend just in case it all goes wrong.
  22. Throw Maz underneath it with a spanner.... Obviously you may have to jack the car up a bit ;) Cheeky monkey!!..i aint that fat!! ;)
  23. only 3 gregers?? :) Mirez..i'll chuck in 4 kids, a handbrake cable, and a switch... for yer supra. ;)
  24. Welcome Phil, yup..you has indeedie bought yerself a MKI Glaxy. :46:
  25. The early MKIIIs, had their rear quarter windows done so they couldnt be opened, a safety issue i believe so maybe yours are not meant to be opened.
