OK..when i went on their website before i saw your linc, it stated that they do not deal with individual enquiries and that i have to contact a motor outlet for the set..it looks safe but then as it says on the linc....you are stuck with it on the floorbetween the two back seats.

i think that i will look into it as the lap belt i feel is not secure enough.plus god forbid if my car was ever in an accident they can cause internal damage...that much i do know.going to do a search now...

i must say that i would rather have a 3 point harness in the middle seat rather than a lapbelt. so i have an early mk2....nice to know!!and smaller brakes!

I have a seat belt warning light..not sure about a cruise control one..... so when you mean version 2.1, does that mean there are two versions of the mk2?????? i have solid head rests and lapbelt...

with mine cleaned it up, greased it wth copper ease then re connected..well, before i put the linkage in i hooked it up to make sure the linkage was in the PARK position..got to remember that!!!but be careful not to trap any fingers or its goodbye to opening jam jars!!!!! :angry: my linkage had seized so i had to drown it in wd40 for a couple of days.... by the way..i never touched my motor as it was ok..hadnt burnt out at that point!!

i have done that before..got a slap for it but it was worth it...i was watching an auction for a nintendo ds..didnt see all the way down at the bottom of the page in smallest letters that it was for a link till i went to bid on it!! so i emailed the highest bidder aswell as informing ebay..the highest bidder stopped bidding at that point and thanked me..it was worth it..the seller was doing it on all his auctions..some bids were as high as 670 quid..so i mailed them all..none of them had seen the sentance saying that it was only for a link.ebay didnt act in time(never do)but the seller was suspended after all his auctions had finished!!

im going to take the front bumper off at the weekend to correctly assess the damage behind it..if i can i will take pictures to show you so you can finally see what i am on about.id do it now but knowing my luck the car would be off road for a few days whilst i figured out how to put the bumper back on!! just a couple of questions, do i need to disconnect anything(like the battery), before i attempt this and is there anything i need to be careful of???i have the instructions on how to take it off..but considering the damage behind it im not entirely sure what it should look like behind the bumper as i do know there is considerable damage. anyone got a true life pic of what it looks like with the bumper off???so i can compare and see what is naffed??? thx peeps.xx
