I did bigd.....wasnt me that spilt about 3 litres of the stuff on a beige carpet..can thank the bloody kids for this...id painted one room which id emptied and protected the carpet with dust sheets..id finished the room so had picked the sheets up..but the kids decided yesterday to build tents in there and the eldest decided to paint the walls and spilt what was left in the 5 litre paint can which was about 3 litres..as id bought odourless paint i didnt know till this morn when i opened the door and saw it all..to say i was not amused is an understatement..she didnt tell me in case i got angry..

How do i get silk emulsion paint off a bloody carpet..short of replaceing the carpet....how can i get the paint off?..i have mopped up what i can..but i only found it this morn and some of it is dry. gawd..trying to redecorate this quarter..pack..clean and keep the kids amused ..i need an extra pair of hands!!

ahh..my mistake..its the home guard club that father in law goes to and women arent allwed in there .. but is still a private club.
