Hmmm...maybe, maybe not.....if its a learning curve....then why cant they sort probs out on the earlier models like the MKI and II properly without the "oh we'll fix this and see if it cures it" thinking? from what i have read on here so far about the MKIIIs and their probs and the experiences with ford in trying to sort out said probs..then fords really dont know or havent trained their mechanics enough! i mean..all the probs the others have had..and now the probs the new ones have...doesnt give much confidence does it really in buying a new galaxy.....

welcome whizkid, i havent heard yet of any probs like yours on the MKIII, and we only have a handfull of a few MKIII owners.If i were you..id take the car back with the list of faults and quote the trade description act, your car sounds a very dodgy thing to drive.Ford are crap at diagnoseing what is wrong with Galaxys and the MKIII is no different. I would insist that they take the car back and give them 2 weeks to fix it or you will be taking things further. Gregers has had some experience here as he got his finance company involved after weeks of things still not being right. The MKIII is a new breed of very poor engineering by ford.If they cant fix or diagnose either the MKI or MKII .. then they are certainly doomed with the MKIII in afraid. Though i am sure there are sum good ford mechanics out there sumwhere. :lol:

round here it is a nightmare driving, indicators are practically almost never used by the majority on the roads, overtaking others has become some sort of sport to see how close they can get to oncomeing traffic before chickening out and making all other traffic brake sharply as they swerve back into their own side,car parks are a nightmare as my veccy now has a nice scrape mark along the drivers side where some kind old biddy reversed out of her parking space and used my car as guidance as to where her front end was..boy racers are the norm for screeching thru the village and slamming on their brakes when they see the speed camera on the bridge...and trying to get past gartree school at 20 past 3 in the aft is a flippin nightmare as cars are just abandoned all over the road with parents waiting for their kids!! (its on a corner by the main road) (not the school mine attend i might add).

Bugger .... wish id known that! Katman ... i think that they will know London will be considered the main target so will try and divert attention elsewhere, then maybe the main incenduary (sp) will be let loose on their main target....basically what you said really ....

Umm..welcome to the forum!..there is a rant thread somewhere floating about. :rolleyes: ;) shame your having such probs with the car, maybe someone on here will be able to help you out.

well it aint the same temp all over the country though. why does the smoke have to come from the engine?what about the exhaust?..he said it was an exhaust type of smell...

yep..ive stripped the linkage down and so have a few others on here. and the rest banjo if he doesnt want to do it himself.! IF you do it yourself, DONT HIT IT WITH A HAMMER!

I was crawling thru the puddle in first gear....the Gal would have just trundled thru i guess...wasnt much fun getting towed home.Ah well, hopefully she will dry out and will start in the morn.touch wood!

Well i hope it aint more flippin rain..my car died in the middle of a bloody huge puddle in the middle of the road today!Not a happy chapess!..Think it got swamped.
