Hi there, not sure if I'm understanding your problem correctly but my Galaxy 1.9 tdi was losing power and it turned out to be the mass air flow meter. I took it off and gave it a good spray with carb cleaner and it's been fine since. Hope this helps. Cheers, Rob.

Hi, I'm trying to change the water pump on my 1997 Galaxy diesel. I've followed the Haynes manual and have removed the alternator, air con compressor, power steering pump but am now struggling with removing the 'accessory bracket' from the front of the engine. Will the water pump come off with this bracket? Do I really need to remove this bracket? Do I need to remove the timing belt cover to get to the water pump? The Haynes manual doesn't say to remove the cover but half of the water pump is behind it! Cheers, Robin.
