yes checked wires the motor is clicking you can hear it and feel it when you put hand on motor, sounds like its stuck

hello how do you remove a front electric window thats not working i have the door panel off and can see the screws on the door holding motor on, but i cant lower the window to get out ? doyou just undew the screws and it drops ?

hello does anyone know if i can wire up a positive wire to passenger window switch or motor as i cant find the fault and have checked all wiring and still not going, if i can use a wire direct to door from battery would this work ? i dont mind global closure not working or power to this window all the time thanks its a 1999 mk1 galaxy

hi every 1, i have searched the furum about electric windows not working, and looked at the wires in rubber between door , and in door but when i push the window switches i can hear noises like there is power. both sides do this ? is there a relay for windows its like theres not enought power? thanks

hello every 1 i have just changed my air filter on my 2.3 gal and there seems to be a smaller filter in the corner onder main filter ? is this right as the bit in there was all rotten and wet with oil and water ? i have put a new sponge in but not sure what its for

hello on my 2.3 gal the windscreen washer water is not working properly its like the water in the pipes is returning to bottle ? when i try to wash the screen the motor is noisy then the water comes out and it goes quiet. it the washer pump built in the bottle or seperate or does it have a non return vale so the water dont empty out of the pipe ?

hello my 2.3 gal is in need of a service has anyone got a list of the service items that need doing ? i have a rac warranty so i need to get it right and what am i likey to pay, im in portsmouth area if its easy i will do it as i have no service records with car when i got it

tickovers fine its just when starting it cuts out when normal temp, what needs cleaning ?

hello my 2.3 gal keeps cutting out when starting from normal temp, when i start it up it goes for about 3 seconds then cuts out unless i rev it abit ? any help would be helpfull please

how can i check ? with a amp meter ? and what should the autonator give out

its a 2.3 glx hello when my radiator fans come on my rev counter goes right down and car nearly cuts out any 1 else had this as its only when ticking over :angry:

yes when cold seems ok it cut out again today at traffic lights, it ticks over ok then suddenly revs go down and dies then start car again and its ok ?

hello my 2.3 1999 gal keeps nearly stopping running it only happens when ticking over at trafic lights or out side shops, when going along it seems ok. the rev counter goes right down and twice stoped then when you start it its ok ?
