I purchased a 2001 y-plate (new shape)1.9 tdi zetec on saturday looking through some insuracne quotes today two companies brought up my vehicle, based upon the registration plate, as a 110 bhp model - is this right? the dealer told me it was a 115 and i thought all the new shapes were 115 (or 90 on the LX's or 130), not 110 can anypone please reassure me i have a 115, please!

Pucked the Gal up on Saturday - very pleased with it being the anorak that i am, i read through the hand book from start to finish! the section on the auxhiliary heater states it is controlled via controls on the digital clock - you can even set a timer for it to activate whilst you are not in the vehicle -say on a cold winters morning however, i dont' have a digital clock - only an analogue one - so don't have any controls for the heater! have i definitaly got the heater? (i've a 1.9 tdi zetec 2001) I looked under the car and could see heater pipers but i think they are for the internal rear heating system, (i.e. water carrying pipes) not the diesle powered jet engine thing can somebody please educate me here! thanks

Hi -joined this forum on Friday, purchased my Gal on Saturday! - a y-plate 2001 1.9tdi Zetec with 37k on the clock Having studied this forum in some detail on Friday, i felt reasonably confident in going to look at this Gal on Saturday morning It's a lovely car and ran very nice so i bought it! However, i confess i couldn' find or see the auxhiliary heater exhaust which i though was located under the near side rear wheel arch - i checked the front arch as well but couldn't find it their either - could only see the plastic liners conseuently, i don't know if the heater is running or not also, whilst it has air con, i don't think it's dual - their are roof mounted controls (a fan and temp control) on the left hand side just behind the pillar - can anybody confirm whether this is dual air con or jsut a rear heating system thanks all
