thanks jayton, thats excellent :) -
have used the boost leak tester connecting it to the turbo but there are no leaks on that side of things so i,m now looking at the air intake, i,ve noticed the airbox lid doesn,t seem to be closed down firmly on the filter even though the screws are all tight, is it possible this could be warped somehow ?

we have a 2003 1.9 tdi automatic, just after slowing up maybe to turn a corner, upon trying to accelerate the engine will cut out, it seems to satrt up again easily though, fault s 19561 valve for intake manifold flap (n239) open or short to ground & 17957 boost pressure regulation valve (n 75) open or short to ground, any ideas ?? an audiable air suction sound can be heard as driving along also almost like an air leak of some kind

Jerky Gear Change
postiepat replied to postiepat's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
fault codes are showing on the transmission ecu as follows 00529 engine speed signal missing & 00351 intermediate shaft speed sensor, would this point towards it being an electrical fault rather than mechanical, thanks for your help -
hi there, does anyone know anywhere in the midlands that would supply a recon auto box for our 1.9 tdi, tia
