Nope, its either red, blue or green. Blue for the Sharan, Red for the Alhambra and Green for the Galaxy, it all depends on the LED's installed and they only produce one colour so no configuration available - you could replace them but they are the SMD type so you'll need to be well versed with a soldering iron. thanks mate-ill just take it back to the shop thnx again - top geeza

you can buy the wire from where it plugs in in the arch up to the caliper from gsf or eurocarparts etc

hi all just bought a new gal 05 platel ghia 1.9 tdi with climate control it has what looks like a scooter exhaust underneath the car-rear near side - i thought it was something to do with clim control but with a short trip with it only been 8-9 deg outgside and no climate on i heard a noise and after further investigation and a burnt hand found this exhaust blowing hot air for about a min after turning off ignition-what is it and is it working properly? any checks i can do-it has a 2 year warrenty with ford bristol street so im not concerned about repair bills rsvp andrew :)

Turbo is cutting it self out usully from over boost-can be many things-look at tdi turbo issues on this forum-pm me and let me know how you get on as ive same problem but mine only happens once in a blue moon

sorted a key today woop woop i went to a car spares shop that was a draper stockist-vw-audi drain key on the shelf----------10 quid im happy!

ive a few gear box issues and want to inspect oil before i get it into the garage on ramps-vw box has a fill and drain point -when its stopped raining tom ill take a pic and post what im talking about ford and vw parts counters only order tools for thier technicians so id have to wait as they bulk order! if its a torx fit what number is it ie 60? and id modify it on a lathe at work to take the metal nipple in the middle!

Hi all Im about to change gear oil but hit a little hurdle by coming across the drain and filler plugs are splined(torx) with a little metal 'nipple' in the middle like a anti tamper bolt -my car is a 52 plate 6 speed tdi Does any one know where i can get 1 from and a part number for it. :( Dont want to modify plug ie bash it with a hammer!!

My valve must be well shot ive oil and grime splling out of it its all over rocker cover etc-their not cheap either-just over hundred quid from gsf as i recall!!

No there is a noise when engaging and disengaging clutch that doesnt sound like a release bearing im not sure if it could be a clutch pressure plate but if im gonna change the clutch ill change the whole lot-hyd cylinder and dmf too -did get the car up on some friends ramps yesterday but couldnt drain the box off as the plug are a special splined key - the security type with a nipple in the middle so ill try and get 1 from fraud monday yes gsf do a ready to go dmf and clutch assembly

after hopefully ironing out turbo issues by replacing a control valve vw nbr 1j0 906 627 a- im moving onto gear change issues - noises - could any 1 tell me the early signs of a dual mass fly wheel failiure as im pretty sure the box is ok does the fly wheel perform better when enige is warm? any comments and advice is grate full cheers andrew 52 plate 1.9 tdi 115bhp-80000 on the clock

Hi all -few issues with turbo going into GIMP mode only a once or twice a month ...Any how ive had the car checked again by a trusted mechanic who says its the pressure control valve located on the bulkhead behind a heat shield - ive ordered new part from VW and whilst noting number of part ive noticed the exhaust relief vave is leaking some sort of oil (valve is located next to rocker cover above the turbo)- does any know where i can get a replacement from without forking out for a complete turbo unit thanks andrew

cheers guys ill try getting the engine warm and blasting it in 2nd and third and ill get some 'millers' addiditive!! trouble is the car only does 2-3 miles a day and theyre short runs-school etc thanks again also ive got new fuel filter so ill bang that on andrew :) if only everything was as reliable as a e30 m3?

hi all been looking at past posts today and i have the old LIMP mode syndrone!! its not that bad at the moment and doesnt happen all the time-when it does the old trick off turning off the ignition and restarting clears problem straight away! the car which is a 52 plate 1.9tdi which has done 80,000 miles seems to run better and limp mode dissapears with a touch of the old redex in the fuel but still i took it to a local diesel specialist and his diag system said that the turbo had been over pressured and went into LIMP mode and i need a new turbo-

cheers at least its a shaft and not a box ...lol ill have to wait till the weekend now before i can get it on garages ramps ill double check all mounts as well to be doubly safe.... ill post sumet in the next month or so to inform you all of out comes and costs incurred :) thnx again andrew :(

hi mirez it is a slight knock when taking up taking up and releasing drive as you said in lata when i bought the car last year it was a hell of a lot worse and the garage that i bought it off made it 70% better..tried to get it sorted with them before been removed from their forecourt by their security....lol i was wondering if theyve just packed the joint full of grease.....? but to be fair it hasnt got much worse...just want to iron out all the faults b 4 trips to the coast this summer hopefully its just a drive shaft and not anything relating to the gearbox itself as the car hasnt even done 80k yet!! cheers for the reply dude - top man andrew ps is the drive shaft - coupling a big job??

hi all still got the same problem-a faint noise on acceleration/deacceleration Fraud put my car on their ramps and informed me it was a drive shaft coupling where it joins the gear box Im not 100% of this as im thinking its a engine mount Any views on this please :D galaxy 1.9tdi 52 reg regards andrew

hi all recent bad weather has took its toll on my old car battery and so a replacement was bought thus losing radio code can any help??? havnt took the head unit out yet but asume its the standard unit as its a tape player lol....unit is a 4050 thnx all

hi all long time no see -ive a lil fault that only sometimes happens when i change from 2nd to 3rd it seems to jump out of gear-it doesnt happen all of the time,actually its quite a rare incident-but still needs attention-is there any 1 thats any advice??? :( :( 52 reg 1.9tdi galaxy 110ps manual box

recently bought a galaxy from a wolverhampton garage thats on the cannock road-well -issues ive got are now with my solicitor and being presented to a small claims court-the stupid rude woman didnt know i was recording her - tell me off like a school child....this will be a easy case ive been assured and will post as much information on here when the legalities have finished ---- watch this space
