Diesel Stalling
Danny Boy replied to Another?Maybe!'s topic in What thing irritate you about your Galaxy
I've stalled my Alhambra quite a few times, without a judder!!!! Luckily i've not had a near crash experience!! I did in an old Renault Clio I had once and smashed all the suspension and wheel hitting the corner of a kurb!!! I was under the impression there were un-stallable but abviously not!!! -
I noticed a while ago that if I put my "manual" Alhambra into gear and takle the foor of the clutch slowly the car will role at a set speed without the need for me to touch the peddles. 1st gear 5mph 2nd gear 10 mph 3rd gear 15mph Am i likely to cause any damage doing this, or is it a sign of something that might go wrong??? Cheers :(

I've just brought a x reg Seat after owning an r reg Galaxy. I would agree with everyone else that the Seat has god a good spek, better than the Ghia and Carat on the othetr makes. Personnaly i like the looks of the facelift Galaxy and the Alhambra but am not too keen on the Sharan. You mentioned the Espace on your firt post....i'd stay away!! there expensive motors to maintain (as with all french cars). :( Good luck and happy motoring!!

oh yes but when its just lonely old me in the car going to and from work its peacefull.....I love it!!

I can hear it in mine inside the car!! When should it kick in go off etc???
