how do i reset my service message from my trip computer

hi on my tdi 2001 you turn on the ignition , press and hold tripmeter reset button for 2 seconds the service interval will be deleted smoggy

tried that dont work but my service indicator didnt go away. plus mine is on the trip computer not the speedo

On my old Alhambra you hold down the trip counter reset button while you switch the ignition on. I hold it down for a few seconds afterwards as well.

What year is the galaxy, the new shape 56 plate onwards, you do the following. press the brake pedal down and hold and the press the accelerator pedal as faw to the floor as you can, switch on ignition, hold both pedals down for i 10 seconds at least and the message comes up, service reset.

Hi

On my 2001 1.9 tdi you hold the reset button in before inserting the key and turning on the ignition and hold for 2 seconds
