Hi, I'm after some help.

I've got a 96 Galaxy 2.0. The drivers side front electric window started to only work intermittently. The problem became gradually worse until finally it stayed open for a while and wouldn't even close on the remote alarm. I finally got lucky and it closed. It has remained shut for the last year!

The I can open the passenger side window from the drivers side switch, but can't close it. However the passenger side window operates perfectly on its own switch.

Is it just a case of replacing the drivers door window switches or is their another cause??????

Sounds like it could be the wires in the loom between the door and a-pillar (drivers side)

try putting 12volts direct to the motor not sure think it's a two pole motor switch just reverses polarity

Hi, I fitted a second hand osf door wiring loom today and now the electric windows go up and down as they should and also the speaker works too. The problem I now have is that when I unlock the drivers door with the key (no remote) all the other doors inc. tailgate stay locked? I worked out that with the drivers door open if I turned the key in the drivers door twice anti-clock wise the other doors unlock? This wasn't a problem before any ideas guys.

Thanking you in advance,

Kev.
