Tdciad
Hello All, My 2008 Ford Galaxy Ghia 2.2 tdci 118k is showing the engine malfunction light with the orange! on the dash, I have had x4 new glow plugs replaced and checked all the relays and fuses and all the wiring in 2022 all was good "that we could tell" but still getting a code on forscan for the glowplugs I've even swapped them around and still get the exact same codes all the time but the car is failing MOT due to emissions. The second issue is I think the EGR/DPF is blowing/blocked my mechanic checked all the pipes to the turbo intercooler etc and EGR can't see any leaks or cracks but under hard acceleration on the motorway only the car is going into limp mode after 70 mph and the engine is warm, I've got a loud hissing sound under hard acceleration so something is not right, I can drive the car around town for weeks and it will never go into limp mode and drive fine bar the glowplug issue and engine malfunction light but I can just press okay and the warning is gone until the next reset or i might be use to the way it dives now? I've put the codes up that forscan is showing me no matter what we do the code for the Glowplug comes back, The EGR one will only come back after about 1.5/2 hours of driving on the motorway then the limp mode will occur so maybe a regen thing? Thanks for looking all and have a good night. Edited November 26, 2023 by Tdciad edit
