Water From Drivers Side Lower Air Vent, Any Ideas?

If so then I've just has a look and it's a ribbed plastic fastener of some sort, not a pipe termination.

 

Earlier in the thread is was mentioned that the air con drain is a short rubber pipe coming out of the bulkhead so I'm fairly sure that it is supposed to be just open ended, like it is now.

 

I think what has happened is that when I bought the car it was agreed the garage would fix the cruise control as a condition of sale. They messed me about over it for 2 weeks as they couldn't get it working. I suspect the numpty trying to get it going has tried sticking random pipes in any possible orifice, got bored and left it where it was. They did issue me with a new pump and

The short stub sticking out is correct there should be nothing connected to it just open, can't help with the 2.3 cruise control.
