Heather2408 Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Hi there, hoping someone can help me with my 2000 tdi pd galaxy.(facelift model)My problem is that the switches on my centre console are not working. Blower switch is fine, heat regulator only blows warm ( when engine running) ac button doesn't do anything and I can only get air directed to the windscreen also the small analogue clock at the top of dash stopped working too. Individual switches heated screen and hazards are all fine too. Had an auto spark look at it and he found some broken wires in tailgate rubber grommet ( never fixed it) checked fuses and all ok, suggested new heater control panel and clock which I tried and still no luck. I'm thinking it could be a relay and hopefully someone on here has come across this before and can point me in the right direction to fix this. Many thanks in advance Great site too Quote
chrispb123456 Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 If you have broken wiring in the tailgate gaiter or any of the doors this causes all sorts of problems and is very common, if the clock has stopped suddenly that sounds like a fuse has blown check number 32 fuse Quote
