Battery Charging Method

Afternoon all,

Need to charge up the battery due to short journey syndrome, its so long since i did this i can't remember if you have to unbolt any of the battery leads while its in the car getting charged or can i just clip on the charger and leave it to charge. its a sealed battery if that makes a difference.

Depends what charger your using, the new type smart charger you can leave the leads connected.

If you have the old type charger you need to disconnect the earth lead

Got me a maypole jobbie from ebay after pensioning off the abbsar thing ive had for 15 odd years

Then saw aldi doing their own branded one ,almost identical for

this is going to turn into a competition to find the oldest charger !
