Fraz-ktf Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Here's a little idea I had and implemented whilst searching for the reason my parking sensors were not working - thought I'd share it by way of "Giving back" After finding my rear-wash pipe joint was undone in the passenger footwell, though the area was only slightly damp, I removed the parking sensor controller from under the passenger seat to swap it for a known working one. When I replaced it, I put a couple of 14mm nuts under the controller, before bolting it back to the vehicle's floor. This has raised the electrics off the floor by about an inch (2.54 cm for the kids out there), thus delaying the fizz-buzz of shorting electrics, should my rear washer's pipe come adrift again of the scuttle drains block up. I can "Comfortably" drive around with plenty of water sloshing around now :D . Can't see any reason this little mod would cause a problem with anything but if anyone knows different, please PM me very quickly! :o Quote
