DoctorStar Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 Hello folks, New to the Galaxy world so bare with.... We have just bought an 07 plated Galaxy TDi and have a couple of questions if I may? 1. The central locking locks all the doors when using the key fob but only opens the drivers door when unlock is pressed. If you get in the drivers side and open the offside door, all the other doors unlock. Is this a feature or a failure? 2. When I press the parking assistance button, it flashes then stops flashing. Is this a sign of a malfunction? Thank you for reading, any thoughts would be appreciated, Doctor Star. Quote
chrispb123456 Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 Welcome to the forum.Sounds like the feature is enabled, to open all doors with the fob press and hold both lock and unlock buttons together for a few seconds the indicators should flash to confirm, you should then be able to open all doors as normal. Flashing light usually indicates a fault on system Quote
DoctorStar Posted August 16, 2013 Author Report Posted August 16, 2013 Thanks Chris....central locking now doing as required. We will get the sensors checked next time at the dealer. BW Doc Quote
