Mk2 Tyre Pressures?

Hi All,

 

I'm a little confused about the tyre pressures for a 1.9 TDI MK2 galaxy, so far we've been told 47 psi front 55 psi rear, 44 front 46 rear and 44 front and 51 rear.

 

Any help?

OK then.

 

Normal loading up to 3 persons 41psi front

                                                  38psi rear

 

Full loading with more than 3 persons 44psi front

                                                            47psi rear

Right, and I recall getting tyres fitted at Nationwide. checked pressures following morning (as its not the first time) - 35psi all round.

Was passing the next day and complained about the dangers of improperly inflated tyres - they went away, checked some chart and maintained they were correct - until I showed them that little plaque on the driver door pillar - ha!

On the diesel there should be a decal on the passenger door pillar at sill level that has tyre pressures on it.
