Check turbo outlet pipe, there's a short rubber elbow pipe just before joining the metal tube, (drivers side) will be revealed once the under tray is removed, also check the intercooler under the main radiator.

I this noise just started suddenly? or is the car new to you? maybe noise is normal spooling noise from the turbo, is there any loss of power? if there isn't wouldn't be to concerned.

Every seems ok could it be dirty injectors or something with the exhaust

what am ilooking for holes in pipes

Thanks for any help

Adam

You could have a small split in a hose which could be hard to see, check all air charge pipes carefully, loss of air charge pressure would be confirmed with an underboost code stored on the system.

After hours of taking pipes off cleaning bits  cutting my hands to shreads

to get at  chucked some gum stuff in wrapped a bandage round it bingo fixed

Thanks to everybody for advice must have saved a few quid so untill next time

Thanks again
