wendyjane Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 hi everyonei have just changed the dreaded relay 30 in my galaxy 2.3 because she wouldnt start.I tried it before re-assembling everything and she turned over and revved into action so i turned her off and put everything back together.just went to go out and she wont start!!!!ignition lights come on but when i turn the key all dashboard lights flash .any ideas please guys?? chromedome Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I would double check the connections on the relay socket as it sounds like a connection is becoming detached when you fold the fuse box back together. Quote

wendyjane Posted February 9, 2013 Author Report Posted February 9, 2013 hi,well i took everything apart again and checked all the connections then re-assembled,charged the battery just in case but will still only turn over and not fire up.The fuel pump is working because you can hear it when you turn on the ignition.when you turn it over the dashboard lights flash but it isnt bleeping anymore as it does when the relay 30 fails any ideas please and thanks in advance :27: Quote

Was that a new relay 30 or one from a breakers The LED light on the drivers door whats it doing when you try to start.Can you hear the fuel pump when turning on ignition Check for spark at the plugs.
