danicroitor Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 Hi,I have a small/big problem with my galaxy. I have a few seconds power delay on my car. I noticed a delay in power responce a few weeks back. It happened after I forced the car to arrive quickly at a meeting, In the meantime I've changed the timing belt with all the filters and the other usual stuff, but with no improvement. Also the fuel consumption is higher than before. any ideas? Quote
danicroitor Posted November 23, 2012 Author Report Posted November 23, 2012 forget to mention that I went at a local garage for diagonstic and all looks fine, no problem but I still have a power delay  Quote
dlt1617 Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 You mention you went in for a diagnostic did this include checking the fault memory? If not I would check the fault memory incase there is a fault listed with boost pressure as sticking vanes in the turbo are not uncommon on these. Before you condem anything I would do the fault test first. chrispb123456 Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 As you don't appear to have any boost issues logged I would be looking at the MAF sensor as they don't always through a fault code but can be seen when live data is collected when using VCDS lite, you could also try unplugging MAF and see if there's any noticeable difference (better or worse) Quote
