Caff Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Same symptoms and in my case it was a fuse. Had the same problem and the wet footwell previously. Can't remember which fuse it was except that my little manual thought the fuse was for engine management (except it wasn't). I have a diesel mind you. A thorough search through the fuse box in daylight was necessary as first time round in the dark and artificial light I missed it and had started to take out loads of unecessary bits and bobs.Caff Quote
Staceh Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Same here, was a fuse, 46 off the top of my head (thats a guess by the way, don't quote me) I did find the answer using search on here but it took a while! Quote

chrispb123456 Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 (edited) You also need to check the splice joint passenger side footwell (red and white wires)Â No fuses in that range Edited November 20, 2012 by chrispb123456 Quote
hicksy68 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Report Posted November 20, 2012 ya checked that joint aswell its ok lol doing my head in lol got power going to and out of all fuses and power going in and coming out of cpu just not geting to locks or blowers ??? last thing i think is get under the dash and start traking the wiring all the way from unit and putting a pulse down to see how i go unless anyone else has any more ideas.... gregers Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 have you got to all 3 layers of fuses?you also have a fuse box under the bonnet but probably not at fault? Quote
hicksy68 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Report Posted November 20, 2012 yes got all 3 layers where is the one under the bonnet ? just to rule it out thanks Quote
SilverBeast Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 It's under the battery cover, to the left of the wash bottle fill tube. It has the five heavy duty wires coming out of the side and the fat red wire from the battery goes straight to it. Quote
hicksy68 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Report Posted November 20, 2012 thanks ill have a look in the morning ..... Quote
