Mp3 Player For Ford Galaxy 2001

I want to replace my stereo with one that plays MP3

Are there any recommendations for this?

Can I just buy any universal car stereo and fit?

Should I try to get one that is the same size as the one I have fitted currently?

after fixing my current problems, i'd like to get something i can play mp3's on

 

instead of a replacement stereo, is there anything that will let me just put a line in?

so i can play from my phone?

to be honest, i would be happy to get by using one of those

but... i have a cd player

 

i have no real desire to actually replace the damn stereo

(main reason being not having my car broken into for the 'different' looking stereo)

 

i can buy an mp3 player with memory card and usb input from ebay for just a few pounds

these are all small size ones though - so i need some sort of plastic to cover the top and bottom

 

if no one else has replied, i guess there isnt an option?

If u have ipod use a connects2 adapter, plugs into the back of the 6000cd unit and replaces cd changer
