Interior Light Fuse

I have just replaced my brake switch on my Mk2 galaxy (W reg). While I was removing the panel covering the pedals, the footwell light pulled loose and shorted on the pedals, and blew the fuse for the interior lights.

Does anyone know the fuse number and location for the interior lights, as my owners manual doesn't have it listed.

Fuse 53 & 55 for the MK2

I made a slight mistake, my galaxy is a MK1

According to my book fuses 53 and 55 are consumer cut off relay, and power supply engine management.

Fuse 21 then

Still no Joy. Fuse 25 was for Air con.

This is just daft. I thought it would be easy to find and replace the fuse.

Have you actually checked continuity of fuse 53 as consumer cut off relay is for interior lights!

Just Continuity checked it, and it is duff.
