livinlos Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 First post here and would like to say thanks to the forum, already saved hundreds of pounds by fixing the window wiper linkage myself using the guide on here rather than paying Quote
chrispb123456 Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 Check the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir as the clutch also gets it's fluid from here.If the level was low to start with air may have found it's way into the system which will require bleeding out. Quote
livinlos Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 Hi Level was low........... topped it up and as fast as it went in at the top it came out of the bottom of the engine bay somewhere and is now a nice puddle on the floor. So....there must have been an initial fluid loss that occured away from the parking at the house as standing here before just now not a single drip. Any ideas? Quote
chrispb123456 Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 If it's dripping from the gearbox bell housing then it's most likely the slave cylinder leaking which requires removal of gearbox.Other than that you need to be more precise about where it's dripping from. Quote
