Can't remember who fitted it but i was at pains to point out to them on the phone that it needed to match the original tinting. Fitted and a perfect match - spot on. So i would suggest that you're being told a porky - not sure how you would proceed with this one though. You could complain to your insurance company that the job is not satisfactory because of course they will be paying the bill direct apart from your excess.good luck Quote

MadBaz Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Some Most windscreen companies don't fit OE glass they have pattern parts manufactured, assuming as SK said, you don't have aftermarket tints, complain to your insurance co if you don't get any redress dealing with glass co direct. Quote
