Help- Rear Electric Window Wont Close

Hi, can any body help please??? My son pushed the switch for rear window inside door trim, since then the electric window would not open or close. somehow it opened yesterday & now it will not close! I have checked the fuse & this looks ok any ideas please. Many Thanks

Hi, might be worth getting the trim off the door (in FAQ ) and trying to put the switch back into its correct place and check the wiring to the switch

 

If this does make any difference check all the wires in door gators

Put your key in the drivers lock and lock the car, holding the key in the lock position. All windows should close globally.

Mk2 global lock is also off the tailgate if that helps

Hi Can any one help?? I cant hear the relay click when i push the window switch so possibly a faulty relay?? but then would'nt the other windows stop working too?? & i cant hear it clicking when pushing the others?? thx u

When the doors are open there is a black rubber tube which carries the wires between the doors, and one into the tail gate, you can unscrew the rubber gator and check the wires
