My son pushed the switch for rear window inside door trim, since then the electric window would not open or close. somehow it opened yesterday & now it will not close! I have checked the fuse & this looks ok any ideas please. Many Thanks Quote
Lloyd Evans Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Hi, might be worth getting the trim off the door (in FAQ ) and trying to put the switch back into its correct place and check the wiring to the switch If this does make any difference check all the wires in door gators Quote
seatkid Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Put your key in the drivers lock and lock the car, holding the key in the lock position. All windows should close globally. Quote
Lloyd Evans Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Mk2 global lock is also off the tailgate if that helps Quote

traceytrax Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 Hi  & thx u. I have tried it that way too but window still not moving. Quote
Lloyd Evans Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 When the doors are open there is a black rubber tube which carries the wires between the doors, and one into the tail gate, you can unscrew the rubber gator and check the wires Quote
