Lack Of Power

Hi All,

 

I have a few issues with my 04 1.9tdi 130. I have noticed that there is no turbo "thrust" even in 1st & 2nd gear. It still performs well but I am not sure how much "thrust" I should feel. Also when towing, there is a smell of burning oil. I have noticed that there seems to be oil on the intercooler pipe. I would have thought if the intercooler had gone, then I would hear a whistle (I am not). Someone also suggested it could be the "Transducer"?

 

Any ideas??

You need to scan it with Vagcom to determine whether under or overboost, both will cause limp mode, engine switch off and re start will re set till the next time
