Yes even after Keys have been removed i had to go back and turn it off the other day as I left it on. Quote
daddyfixit Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) is it an aftermarket radio ?? perhaps radio permanent feed isnt wired through an ignition switched live ? in other words its always powered up. Edited May 4, 2012 by daddyfixit Quote
alan_131 Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 My Sony came with an adaptor which had the wires setup incorrectly - for me the permanent power was swapped with the switched feed. Might be worth checking ... Quote
MadBaz Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 If it's a mk1 iirc there were some bullet connectors with red and yellow wires that had to be swapped around. Quote
Davek Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Don't know if it helps I blew my switched live when fitting a Sony aftermarket so the switched and perm live (Red and yellow) were connected together. The switched wire has a small purple fuse 2.5 amp if I remember. Replaced that and connected correctly and all works fine. Dave Quote
