Phil her up Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 Hi All Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find what I am looking for on a search... I have a 2002 Seat Alhambra 1.9TD PD 115bhp. The top mounts of the front suspension squeak and groan like anything (when steering) but only after it has rained. I replaced the top mounts and bearings (using pattern parts) about 18 months ago. The old bearings were shot at the time but it did not get rid of this noise. I think it must be the rubber mounts making the noise - has anyone else encountered this please? It is really annoying and quite embarassing as it is quite loud lol. Cheers Phil Quote

I would still check the alternator pulley as that when going appears on steering - Although I admit the raining bit does tend to thow it off a bit. Quote
