Coolant / Antifreeze

Sure this is a quick question for someone to answer "how much coolant does the car take?? Any better types / brands to use??)

Think its between 8 and 10 litres. I get the concentrated stuff from VW - you dilute it so it should last though a tad expensive. I've heard some scare stories about using the wrong coolant so would hesitate to stick in any old stuff.
