Galaxy 2.3 Ghia Auto Electric Windows

My car 51 plate Galaxy Ghia 2.3 petrol Auto, when I lock the car the windows roll down. Sometimes this happens when we have parked the

 

car somewhere, a shopping centre etc, you get back to the car after a busy day shopping to find all the windows open !! So we have to take everything with us from the

 

car just in case it unlocks its self and rolls the windows down and someone feels tempted to nick waht you got in the car. Even have to take the detachable radio/cd

 

player with us otherwise someone may get a

Check the wiring at the door openings ( inside a black gatter) and at the boot opening if they have split maybe a short circuit!!!

check on here, door loom in drivers door goes off its head !

 

after 7 years of repairing the tailgate loom, last month my central locking wouldnt work from inside---the drivers double switch.

 

after reading the faqs and reading the guide i found 2 or 3 broken wires in the drivers door gaiter and repaired them.

 

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU HAVE UNDONE THE TWIST-LOCK ON THE LOOM------I KNOCKED THE BODY MOUNTED PIECE BACK INTO THE DOOR PILLAR AND HAD TO STRIP OUT THE FUSEBOX LID TO PUSH IT BACK INTO REACH !!!!!!
