Hi there, my galaxy just came back from the garage and after changing the battery, the radio is asking for a code. I have entered the code in the log book but the radio then just says 'wait 30'. I have carried this out 6 times now and no use. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could this code have been changed by a previous owner? and, if so, how can I reset it?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Possibly it's not the original radio, there are members on here who have the software to get your code from the radio's serial no.

Or go to http://www.radio-code.co.uk/ pay a small fee and get your code online.

If the radio is secondhand the code may be written on the back of the case, either way you need to remove the radio.

Thank you very much for the quick reply - i entered my serial code from the book into an online keycode place, but it came up with the same code, so must be a different radio. Have just ordered keys to take out the radio and see what serial is actually on it and hopefully get it up and running again.

Thanks again.Lee

Hey Lee

I feel good that I can give some help back to you here..... and it will cost you NOTHING....

Get some keys or as Nik said bent metal :D and then go on the MoneysavingExpert.com forums. There's a thread here where you post your serial code and someone will come back to you within a few hours with the correct code.

Have done it myself and also for the Mother in laws radio :P

Cheers

I have the software to get the radio code, but it has to be the original code set to the radio on manufacture. I'll need your serial number from the radio casing. If the radio has been reprogrammed, then the software will not work.

Anyone know the code for M992036. Or it might be M982036 or M902036. The second number on the sticker is damaged but I'm sure it's one of these as the top of the number is there and it just looks curved at the top. Like a 9 an 8 or a 0.

Thanks in advance.
