Toni Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Does anyone have any ideas? whenever I stop, slow down, change gear or generally take my foot off the accelerator my engine cuts out. most times I have to ignition start it but if I'm quick enough I can bump it. I have been told it could be a problem with the IDLE but not sure ow I would sort that out. If you have any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thanks Quote

Ants1983 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I have the same problem with an early model VW Sharan i have also been told to check Relay#30. Quote
PG TIPS Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I had a similar problem with my vauxhall vectra and cleaned the throttle body out completely which sorted it out. The garage didn't know how to sort it so I googled it! Not sure how applicable it might be for the Galaxy...but worth looking into perhaps? Quote
