chrispb123456 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Hi and welcome to the forumRemove your battery from the car and charge it for at least 48 hours (you cant test a flat battery) then take it to any tyre/battery outlet and let them discharge test it.You may need a new one. Quote
wingchun22 Posted November 6, 2011 Author Report Posted November 6, 2011 i will try recharing the battery again but for a longer period like 48hrs i connected a fault code reader and it came back as a immobilesr fault - engine blocked from starting by immobliser the redlight light on the door flashes, also the glow plug light flashes as well strange thing i took off both postive and negative battery leads and connected them together for a reset (away from battery)the car never started right away, but left it for a few hours and it restatarted again the next day it started ok, drove a couple of miles and parked back up, but then back to nothing when i turned the engine off now i'm back again to nothing when i turn the starter, door light flashing, glow plug flashing Quote
