toby1966 Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I Have just had the clutch replaced on my 1999 galaxy 2.3 and the clutch is great if not a little sharp but when i pull up to a junction the engine stalls and on idle it just gives up.does anyone have any advice or a fix.many thanks Quote
chrispb123456 Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 You can usually associate this symptom with a dirty idle control valve, if it was OK before clutch change make sure no vacuum pipes have been pulled off and not replaced.May just be coincidence if all appears to be in place remove idle valve and clean with decarboniser.Valve is located on top of inlet manifold, held on by 2 bolts and 1 electrical connector Quote
